To develop the council's overall development, the council has a development committee.
The following people constitute the development committee:
Members: Nominated by the principal from among the teaching staff.
Objective: - To oversee and supervise Research and Development activities in the Institute and to ensure performance, by proper monitoring of research projects and engagement in all the research thrust areas, with the management.
Responsibilities :
a) Exploring possibilities of research collaborations, nationally and internationally for long term development.
b) Final assignment of work and fixing linkages and establishing monitoring frame work.
c) Reviewing and monitoring research and development activities in all the four thrust areas so that quality research can be encouraged and slippages can be reduced through pre-established schedules given at the time of allotment of projects.
d) Arranging lectures and seminars periodically to providing academic support and guidance to researchers on the basis of recommendation from Empowered Counseling Committee members.
e) Monitoring quality of dissertations and thesis topics and reports.
f) Giving feedback to researchers and management periodically (half yearly).
Objective : To ensure honesty and fairness during examinations, to assist the college authorities in promoting and maintaining discipline in the institute and prevent anti ragging, in any form.
Responsibilities :
a) It shall be the responsibility of Exam Supervisors (University Exam/Class Test) to report in writing any malpractice or anomaly found during the examination to the Principal. The Principal in turn shall hand over the matter to the Committee.
b) To promote and maintain discipline in the institute by pro-actively assisting the college authorities, HODs, Principal and Director by involvement and giving suggestions
c) To prevent anti-ragging by students in the institute by pro-actively involving, giving wide publicity to prevent ragging, taking rounds and such taking preventive measures.
The aim of the system is to establish a genuine personal relationship amongst students and teachers. It is seen that the students, in general, feel lost in their institutions since they have nobody to fall back upon for advice or guidance. The Proctor is there to aid and advice of the students. A Proctor, who is a member of the teaching staff of the council remains in charge of a group student. He/She shall watch from time to time the academic progress and conduct of his group of students both inside and outside the Council. His/Her recommendation in a matter of free studentship or financial help of any manner shall be of vital importance. He/She makes a report to the Principal and guardians concerning their academic and other activities, inside and outside the council. The committee meets from time to time to assess the improvement of the students.
Objective : To help the Training and Placement Office in conducting and coordinating campus placement process as well as training programs in the college.
Responsibilities: -
a) Supervision in the labs during the aptitude conducted by the recruiting companies.
b) Maintain discipline and decorum in the Assembly Hall where students are assembled during placement.
c) Assist in setting up labs along with the Lab Assistants during on-line tests.
d) Updating TPO data on the college website from time to time.
e) Coordinate for quizzes and competitions organized by different companies.
The committee consists of the Principal as its Chairman and his/her nominees as members. The committee conducts all college examinations like Monthly, Half-Yearly/Test, Annual examinations. It is also responsible for filling up of forms for different council and University examinations. It publishes the results of college examinations.
Objective : To help and ensure smooth and orderly conduct of examinations in the institute as per guidelines issued by the University of Mumbai from time to time.
Responsibilities :
a) To carry out examinations, publish results and award certificates (Provided by the University and Institute) to the students who pass the final examinations.
b) Keeping record of each and every issue related to the examinations and organizing workshops and seminars for the improvement of the examination system.
E stablish the course: Establish the organization’s direction and manage its operations. Make important choices: Make important choices and make sure the company is managed properly. Assure resources: Make sure the company has enough money and resources. Act as the organization’s representative: Serve as the organization’s spokesperson, represent it in public, and speak on its behalf. Consider the summary: Examine the organization’s mission and highlights. Make sure the policies Verify that the policies and governing documents are followed. Use your power. Utilize your assigned and specific authority. Put regulations into action: Adhere to the association's regulations and make sure it fulfils its Act-related duties. Create guidelines. Provide guidelines for the training of volunteers. Create a code of behavior: Create a code of conduct for the volunteers, staff, management, and committee.
The admission committee consists of the principal as the chairman, the admissions in-charge (A.I.C.) of paramedical, naturopathy’s, others, courses as per the guidelines of e-admission (SAMS), and the department of higher education. The committee nominates faculty members as validating officers and officers-in-charge of the Helpdesk for the smooth conduct of the admissions process. The committee is responsible for solving any kind of problem arising during the admission period.
The library committee of the college comprises the principal as the chairman, one Officer in- charge (O.I.C.) and the principal’s nominees as members. The committee recommends allocation of funds for procurement of books out of grants received from Govt. & U.G. C. The committee also finalizes the selection of books to be purchased for the library. The committee inspects the library from time to time to congenial study atmosphere inside the library. The committee takes redressal measures of the students’ grievances.
Objective : - To function as a channel between the library and its users.
Responsibilities : -
a) To assist the Librarian in formulating Library policy.
b) To look after general maintenance of the library in terms of reading material and infrastructure.
c) To effectively involve in fostering the reading habit of staff and students.
d) To recommend / justify / sanction / approve - withdrawal and weeding out of outdated material to the competent authority for final decision in the matter.
e) To prepare the agenda and minutes of the meetings and circulate it to the authorities and to the Librarian.
